Very Fine (10: 2,3,2) A very popular doubled die and one of the strongest there is! Very rare as only about a 50 examples are known in all grades. This is part of “Ned’s 1865 DDR collection.” This was a 25-year endeavor to buy this very rare variety. It is rarer than the 1873 Doubled LIBERTY and is similar rarity of the 1888/7. The doubling is very bold.Â
